Community Christian School

Educating for Success, Service, and Salvation

Mission And Framework

PHILOSOPHY

Seventh-day Adventists believe that true education and personal development cannot be separated from a knowledge of God and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Therefore, the educational system on which the church operates bases its philosophy on a Biblical worldview.  We believe that the work of true education and the work of redemption are one. We have as our goal: developing to the highest degree possible each student’s physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual capabilities. These goals are achieved by the home, church and school working together.

VISION

Our vision is to provide an exemplary school, widely respected for high standards and first-rate performance and for outstanding student achievement.  The multi-grade classroom settings provide a safe and disciplined environment where Christian values are incorporated in all aspects of the curriculum and the school day.

OBJECTIVES

  1. To lead each student into a personal knowledge and fellowship with Jesus Christ and

to connect knowledge to a Biblical worldview.

  1. To give each student a solid foundation of knowledge that includes developing strong

moral values, accepting diversities and skills to increase their confidence and value as being

a child of the Living God.

      3.   To encourage individuality and the ability to think and act independently; to be self motivated and life-long learners.

      4.   To educate in a family atmosphere that promotes such Christian attributes as self control, compassion, courtesy, gratitude, respect and reverence.

MISSION STATEMENT

Our Christian, multi-denominational school’s mission is to equip each student to succeed in an ever-changing world by providing them with the necessary tools and skills to enjoy a life of Success, to practice Service to God and others and to accept the free gift of Salvation from a loving Heavenly Father.

In brief our mission statement of 3 S’s is:

        Success, Service, Salvation
